Farm to Table
Mia Chef Gelateria opened in 2010 by a gelato lover and enthusiast. He hoped to share the art of the gelato making with fellow gelato fans, family, and friends and opened up Mia Academy in the same location. While the business grew and expanded, moving to a larger factory, Mia Academy has remained in the original location and remains the best secret sweet spot in NYC.
We make our gelato using the finest quality all natural ingredients, including fresh milk and cream from local farms. Our flavors encompass a variety of tastes both traditional and modern, spanning the flavor spectrum from Pure Sicilian Pistachio,Stracciatella, Raspberry Panna Cotta to the spirit-infused Figs & Tequila, Chocolate Whiskey Truffles and Crème Brulee.
Our classes are held on a daily basis by our resident chef. Classes are kept small enough to allow an interactive hands on experience for both individuals and groups. As any best kept secret, our classes fill up quickly so we suggest signing up sooner than later.
